New Microsoft Vista launch delayed

A new computer operating system designed by Microsoft has had its launch date put back.

Vista the operation systems name is the first major change since Microsoft launched windows xp back in 2001.

Vista was originally due out around end of summer 2006 but has now been set for January 2007.

Oddly the explanation for the delay was the feeling of it simply being the wrong time of year to be launching the system after a long summer holiday.

If this was the case then surly Microsoft's marketing advisors would not have chosen that time of year in the first place.

Another source suggests Microsoft needed more time to improve security which has become a big issue.

My feeling is they simply need more time to make it run without crashing.

Interestingly Microsoft still plan to launch two versions for business in November.

PCI Express™ will become the new standard for add-on PC cards.

PCI Express meets the requirements for increasing demands for media computers.

Input / Output transfers are vastly speeded up allowing home computers to become home media centres and capable of replacing home entertainment equipment.

For future compatibility and users wishing to take advantage of the new generation cards should ensure your motherboard has PCI Express slots.
